One page WordPress themes are valued for providing a visually appealing and straightforward user experience. Many businesses – particularly in creative industries – prefer one page sites because of their ability to present content in a logical, fluid-flowing and intriguing way.
Several WordPress themes out there offer professional-looking and highly creative single-page designs to cater to all types of businesses. Below you will find 77 of the best one page WordPress themes that can help you create the site you’ve always imagined.
Most of the themes mentioned here are fully responsive, retina ready and include visually stunning parallax scrolling effects. While their focus is on one-page layouts, many also offer multi-page site templates.
This list will help you find the best theme to take your business site to the next level. So what are you waiting for? Let’s get cracking!
Brooklyn is a beautiful responsive one page WordPress theme with sleek typography, abundant white space and lots of features.
With Brooklyn, parallax scrolling effects, 8 different skins (all visible in the demo) and 7 different header styles give your website a unique look.
Additionally, Brooklyn comes with a built-in shortcode manager for easier shortcode insertion into posts and pages. The theme is translation ready and includes an advanced theme options panel. The one page version of Divi features an interesting version of sticky side navigation (located on the left in the demo), somewhat similar to that of a slideshow. The top navigation, meanwhile, comes in different styling options. The Divi page builder is incredibly easy to use and straightforward — personally, of all the page builders I’ve ever used, Divi’s has to be my favorite. With its simple interface, you can create, save, and load page layouts — even sell them to other Divi users in packages. Or, you can use any of the several premade layouts the Elegant Themes developers have already built into the theme.
Divi, like all other Elegant Themes, features the ePanel theme options panel, which allows you to customize every part of your theme’s design and also its general SEO. Besides all that, you also get standard Elegant Themes features including multiple shortcodes, secure coding, solid documentation, and a very affordable price tag.

The live WP customizer is completely revamped, and can be used to customize in live view practically every aspect of your design, right down to button sizes! Over 40 shortcodes are included.
It would take a whole article to write in detail about all the functionality X has to offer, but I’ll try to keep it brief: unlimited sidebars, numerous page templates, HD tutorial videos + supporting documentation, WooCommerce styling and integration features, Slider Revolution, 7 custom post types, several custom widgets, 400 Font Awesome icons, a page builder, and over 600 Google Fonts, just to name a very small selection.
A one page navigation structure, which includes all the features of X, is easily setup thanks to the built-in options. At $60, X is practically a steal, and truly lives up to its slogan: “the last theme you’ll ever need”.

Horizon is a stunner.
There’s nothing particularly unique about it – like many one-page designs it features a full-width display, parallax scrolling and CSS3 animations – but as a sum of its parts, Horizon is a cut above many of its peers.
The theme offers up four different flavors: original, new design, revolution slider and video background. You can no doubt guess what each of those flavors offer.
Although Horizon is a one-page theme, it enables you to pack an awful lot of information into just one page. Best of all, seamless graphical transitions ensure that accessing additional information is both intuitive and satisfying.
On the backend, Horizon offers the usual theme customization options along with a powerful page builder, shortcodes and advanced admin options.

Parasponsive is a slick new parallax, single page, responsive WordPress theme with a number of different display effects. For starters, Parasponsive allows you to adopt 4 pre-made layouts: multi-color, single color, “sky”, and developer templates. Each has unique coloration.
Also built on the Bootstrap framework, Parasponsive comes with the Parallax Layer Slider (normally $15) free. Isotope masonry portfolios, an Ajax portfolio loader and W3C-checked code feature in this elegant theme. Unlimited custom sidebars can be placed anywhere with the use of one of the very many shortcodes. A cool new pricing table that displays each package’s features when a user’s mouse hovers over a package is one of the unique features.
A new “team” section also has a new animation effect (his/her job title is displayed when mouse hovers over a team member’s image). Parasponsive is completely optimized for lightning-fast page load speeds, with search engine optimized CSS, HTML, and JS code. It’s a fantastic theme well worth its salt.
The home page header image is different from other single page themes, with a unique text-only slider that displays your marketing slogans (see it in the live preview). Drag ‘n’ drop galleries, loads of different advanced theme options, 1-click demo content installation, and much more make HalfCreative a great single page theme.
Many one page themes offer up a variety of different ‘flavors’, and North is no exception. In fact, the developers have created no less than 14 different styles, including various slider effects, image and video backgrounds, and a portfolio option.
So breadth of choice should not be an issue here, but how does North fare on the aesthetic front? In a word (or three): very nicely indeed. We have the usual full-width design and parallax effects to enjoy, but it’s framed in beautifully minimalistic styling. The focus is definitely on whites, grays and blacks, which may not of course be to your taste (in which case, North is perhaps not for you).
From a functional standpoint, North performs as well as its counterparts, with a drag-and-drop page builder, slider functionality, theme customization, shortcodes and more.
SimpleKey is a cheap, responsive single page theme with a nice design. Unlike most popular single pagers, websites that flaunt SimpleKey get a unique scroll bar on the right-hand side. Furthermore, while SimpleKey loads website content, it grays out the background and displays a counter in the foreground instead that shows what percentage of the website has been loaded. See it in the demo.
The theme includes 33 different shortcodes. Portfolio items are expandable and filterable, thanks to Ajax. The advanced theme options includes a panel you can use to easily customize your page background. All things considered, SimpleKey is a great theme for designers on a budget.
DW Page Modern is an affordable single page WordPress theme with simple features and options. It supports both single page and multiple page websites (the latter a feature that was added only a short while ago) and includes an option for infinite scrolling.
There are no special animation effects, which is understandable for a theme of this price. If you are looking to go single page on a budget, DW Page Modern fits the bill, with an impressive 99% positive customer reviews.
Me is a neat single page WordPress theme with a minimal design. Me is plain and simple, with a huge amount of white space. Typography is a priority, and over 70 different fonts are available and integrated with the theme. The demo even includes a customizer that lets you see what you play with menu & paragraph fonts and theme colors live.
A great user experience was one of the driving goals behind Me. It has retina-ready images, icons, and even background textures & patterns. Portfolios are filterable, and each item can be expanded with Ajax. The stylized contact form is unique, with no borders around each textarea.
Me works great for freelancers, solopreneurs, and possibly even large corporations and businesses.
Eight Degree brands itself as “the ultimate single page parallax theme”. Given the amount of competition out there, it’s a bold claim, and such a claim deserves extra scrutiny.
With that in mind, a closer look at Eight Degree reveals nothing in particular that sets it apart from the competition. It’s not a bad theme by any stretch of the imagination – it is as smooth and stylistic as many of its peers – but there is nothing that leads you to feel you are in the presence of a particularly compelling design.
You can expect all of the usual features, such as parallax scrolling, CSS3 animations, Google fonts, shortcodes and so on. It certainly doesn’t skimp on that front. And while there is nothing that specifically sets Eight Degree apart from its peers, it is still a good-looking theme, and if it suits your particular requirements, is worth further inspection.
QuickStep is a customizable, clean single page portfolio theme. It is fully responsive and, indeed, limitless in possibilities.
The priority for QuickStep creators was to build a theme that even the most non-techie designer could play around with and customize. As a result, QuickStep’s custom theme admin panel has a huge amount of options. Every single element on your single page can be tailored to make your design brandable and unique. You can customize everything from header height, page transitions, scrolling speed, and just about everything else you can think of.
Vector icons from The Design Office are integrated with QuickStep. Tabs, content boxes, info messages, toggles, accents, highlights, and call to action buttons are a few of QuickStep’s most prominent shortcodes. Each of your pages can be laid out in up to 5 columns. Portfolios are filterable and each item will expand into a short preview. Unlike most themes, QuickStep comes with five different sets of demo content.
QuickStep is a fantastic one page WordPress theme.
Telesis is a very simple, plain one page WordPress theme with parallax scrolling. It flaunts a full-screen slider for your home page, lightboxes and sliders for your portfolio items. Telesis’s portfolio allows you to feature a video instead of an image thumbnail in a portfolio item.
VivaThemes (the developer) is currently holding a promotion for a buy-1-get-1-free theme deal. Enter the coupon code “onefree” during checkout to take advantage of it.
Nervaq is a fully responsive portfolio theme from PixelEntity. The single pager has a clean, elegant design that draws eyes to its beautiful typography. The scrolling, however, although incredibly smooth, is a touch too fast.
The theme works great for businesses, corporations, or even apps. Ajax keeps each of your portfolio items expandable and the entire portfolio filterable. Some smart parallax scrolling effects allow full-screen images to span the backgrounds several subpages. A Google Map location image expands when clicked for more detailed directions.
As you scroll, a small tab scrolls with you on the top right-hand side of the screen. When clicked, it expands to show a full menu position on the right side of the screen, plus several clickable icons that redirect to your social profiles. A few other neat animation effects keep the design fresh and modern.
Retro Portfolio is a very unique single page WordPress theme, with a singular design. Note: “singular” is not equal to “bad”. If anything, it’s the very opposite — Retro Portfolio has a full, interesting design that’s sure to keep your visitors engaged. The typography, icons, menu, and the page layout all contribute to a unified design.
A stylized contact form, several content animation effects, and more make this theme amazing. An Ajax powered portfolio is filterable, and each item can either be linked to an external website/page or can be expanded to let the user preview more details. In fact, Retro Portfolio even allows you to insert a YouTube/Vimeo video into the expandable lightbox for each portfolio item. Each page can have its very own custom widgetized sidebar.
A Nivo slider with a custom slides manager allows you to create galleries easily with a drag ‘n’ drop function. Retro Portfolio is affordable too, at just $30 for all those good looks.
SCRN is a plain single page WordPress theme that gets the job done. It’s made for those who value an easy front end user experience over the newest designs, modern animation effects, or other cool tricks. Customizing the theme is simple and straightforward, uncomplicated to even those who’ve never worked with a line of code.
200+ fonts come integrated with SCRN — there’s bound to be at least one that you like. Unlike most themes, SCRN also comes with easy Google Analytics, and Google/Bing/Alexa Webmaster Tools integration, so you can say goodbye to any plugins you used previously for that function.
Portfolios are filterable, and each item will expand into a larger lightbox preview, with YouTube/Vimeo support. All things considered, SCRN is utilitarian, functional theme at an affordable price.
NASH is a strikingly simple WordPress theme with large, impressive typography. Like SCRN, Nash focuses on getting the job done rather than coming with all the bells and whistles. A perfect example of that is the portfolio. Even though it is Ajax-powered and filterable, each portfolio item is not expandable.
Quite a few shortcodes get you all the basic functions: pricing tables, tabs, toggles, alerts, videos and more. A custom Flickr widget allows you to stream photos from a specific user. Customer testimonials (displayed in blockquotes), are rotatable. Nash comes packaged with FlexSlider and a set of Font Awesome icons.
Ego is a very popular, sleek one page WordPress theme with a creative beautiful design. For starters, Ego has a unique header style that shifts to an alternate color with every word typed in a page’s header (check out the preview to see what I mean).
The “team” section has an animation effect that displays the job title of the member in question when his/her image is hovered over with the mouse. Each team member’s profile is expandable, so you can let users view more details about each of your team member without them having to redirect to a new page.
A neat “service breakdown” bar allows you to showcase your services in a creative way. If your most prominent service is WordPress development, you can set 75% (or however much you’d like) of the bar to be taken up by “WordPress development”. To accompany that, there’s a traditional three columns for you to go into more detail about each of your services. The Ajax portfolio is expandable, yet not filterable.
Ego claims over 200 options that can be customized in its advanced theme options. It’s not hard to see why this little proud single pager already has nigh 2500 purchases.
Nature is a one page, responsive WordPress theme powered by the rock solid Bootstrap framework. The developer claims to focus in on showcasing your portfolio and testimonials in a creative way to use your existing clientele to maximum effect.
The portfolio is somewhat unique, as it allows you to showcase a few major projects in a slider (the “major” represented by the size of each slide), as well as a grid of smaller portfolio items. The expanding feature for each slide is smooth and quick. In the demo, a custom slider built for you to display testimonials sits up right next to a series of bars that demonstrate your most used/most popular skills.
It comes with an Ajax newsletter subscription form, 400+ Google fonts, Flex Slider free, auto re-sizing images, and more. All things considered, even though Nature doesn’t have the most cutting edge design, it does have quite a bit of function clocking in at an affordable price.
K. — now that’s one simple name for a single page, responsive WordPress theme that can do a whole lot. The flexible theme has a truly beautiful design, complete with amazing typography, custom widgets, and multiple layouts.
The parallax-enabled WordPress theme has a timeline feature that allows you to showcase your about page in a new, interesting way. Not only is the portfolio filterable, but so is your “team” section. With K., you can now display even more team members of your company from different departments. Unlike most portfolios though, the filtering is an immediate transition, instead of the smooth roll that you get from most one pagers.
Pages are managed and built with K.’s drag ‘n’ drop builder. A video home page slider offers a unique look for your site. Over 500 Google fonts are integrated with the theme, available through the custom admin panel.
All things considered, K. is a unique WordPress theme at a fair price.
Ronika is a fresh new one page WordPress theme. It comes with a bouncy, creative look, some seriously cool animations and effects and undisputedly beautiful typography.
In the name of new and different, Ronika’s theme demo’s home page has its portfolio as the very first section. The portfolio is expandable, but not filterable. Additionally, each portfolio item can have a customizable size, as opposed to most portfolio themes that only allow one standard set of dimensions for each portfolio item’s featured image.
Each home page element slides into view thanks to some cool animation effects. Each effect can be customized — you can play around with the speed at which and distance from which the portfolio item loads. It comes with over 300 hand-picked retina ready icons and some new custom social sharing buttons. Ronika has a unique design, refreshing to see after so many similar themes.
Chamfer is responsive single page WordPress theme with a creative, one-of-a-kind design. It has a very distinctive texture to it.
The background of the theme is split into two columns with various colors. As a result, Chamfer retains a very colorful, creative look fully complemented by appropriate typography. It looks great on mobile devices, more so than most one pagers. CSS3 progress bars, various image effects, and hundreds of Google fonts are all included. A stylized contact form and Google Maps integration makes Chamfer a simple, yet elegant single page WordPress theme.
Looking for a unique single page WordPress theme to throw your visitors off? You got it with Reversal.
As per its name, Reversal is reversed. More specifically, scrolling is reversed. Users scroll horizontally, as opposed to the conventional top-to-bottom vertical scrolling. Reversal includes all the standard features that the rest of PixelEntity one page themes have. You get neat progress bars, a filterable + expandable portfolio that supports YouTube & Vimeo videos, built-in 1-click demo import, and a stylized Ajax contact form.
Reversal comes with over 200 Font Awesome icons, a brandable admin panel, integrated Google Fonts, and a huge amount of shortcodes. The theme automatically lazy loads images ensuring lightning fast page load speeds. Different from most other themes in its niche, Reversal also has a nice blog feed and post layout, with elegant typography and widget sidebars.
Barrci is a beautiful responsive WordPress theme with some great features.
A full-width slider can head your home page. Home page sections are modular, and pages can be re-ordered and customized easily. Over 50 shortcodes are include, that take care of features like portfolios, testimonials, pricing tables, and more. There are three different portfolio templates already included. However, portfolio items are neither filterable nor expandable. 7 different post types are available: standard, audio, video, gallery, quote, link, and image. Font Awesome icons are included.
13 different custom widgets and 16 different design elements can be stylized via the advanced admin panel. 51 different fonts can be featured on your Barrci-powered site.
Red Sky is a creative single page WordPress theme with a singular design and numerous features.
For starters, Red Sky has a unique blog page template that uses toggles to allow users to toggle blog post previews/teasers (everything before the more tag) open and closed — a rather unique function, all told. Whether that will end up positively or negatively affecting user engagement is yet to be known, although one thing is definitely conclusive: the toggle buttons look awesome.
Red Sky offers great customization ability, with 16 different color presets included and four pre-made layouts. The package comes with four sliders normally worth $30 free – Layer, Revolution, Flex, and PixFlow. The theme supports parallax scrolling and a filterable, expandable portfolio.
The Red Sky theme package includes three different styles — fashion, modern, and official, all of which look great. All things considered, it’s a great single pager with a nice design.
Awesome is a clean, modern portfolio theme. The first thing you’ll notice once you get on its ThemeForest product page is that the developers offer a one-time free installation for new customers. Albeit, the task isn’t a difficult one, but it’s still a nice gesture from the support team.
Anyway, on to the nitty-gritty: even though Awesome is a single pager a bit cheaper than most the pricing evidently has no negative effect on its look. Big businesses, rather than solopreneurs and freelancers, will fancy this theme thanks to its very full look with plenty of design elements, columns, and layout options. As a result, the theme isn’t exactly the most minimalistic one you’ll find. It comes with two jQuery sliders, One by One and Flex. Two custom widgets: tabbed content (recent/popular posts, recent comments, and tags, and Twitter feed display are included.
The portfolio is both filterable and expandable. Awesome comes with 5 pre-made color skins: orange, green, red, blue, and violet, all of which can be viewed in the preview. Over 600 Google Fonts have been integrated in the advanced admin panel. An Ajax contact form, a variety of shortcodes, and 7 different custom post types and plenty more feature in Awesome, a truly awesome theme.
Xiara is a responsive one page parallax WordPress theme with some great typography and a cool design texture.
The default background pattern viewable in the demo is quite unique and it’s the same story with the alternate background for each page header. The parallax effect is smooth and looks stunning. A shortcode generator, the normally $15 Revolution Slider and over 400 Google Fonts are integrated with Xiara.
The advanced theme options is both easy to navigate and powerful; Xiara is a breeze to customize. An Ajax-powered filterable and expandable portfolio showcases your work with some serious jazz. It also comes with a custom widget that displays your Flickr photostream.
Kula is an elegant responsive single pager theme with sleek typography, parallax scrolling, and big ‘n’ bold images.
Kula’s portfolio is both filterable and expandable, with support for YouTube or Vimeo videos. When a user hovers his/her mouse over a portfolio item, the title/header of the item will be displayed. The “services” page also has a unique rollover effect to it — each service icon enlarges slightly. Unlike most themes, Kula offers a very full, detailed section for each team member with the ability to display e-mail addresses and custom social media icons. Numerous shortcodes that include functions like alerts, accordions, buttons, toggles, tabs, can easily be inserted into a page or post.
Font Awesome and Flex Slider have both been integrated into Kula. Additionally, Kula loads incredibly fast, with a test Google page load speed score of 92 out of 100 — very impressive. All things considered, Kula is a great single pager at an affordable price.
Surreal is another creative single page WordPress theme with a unique design from PixelEntity.
Surreal carries all of PixelEntity’s standard single pager features, including a brandable admin panel, Google Fonts integration, an easily navigated shortcode editor and builder, demo content, and more. Surreal really is based around artwork and image; much prominence is given to every image. The elegant filterable & expandable portfolio allows you to size each portfolio item as you wish.
The typography is great too with a sleek header font. Progress bars are one of the many shortcodes, but this time they come with a twist. The bar only displays/fills up when a visitor hovers the mouse over the “Skills” section.
Overall, it’s safe to say that PixelEntity has created yet another masterpiece.
Panes is a very “untypical” single page WordPress theme, with some very singular design elements and scrolling effects.
Panes supports parallax scrolling. But not just any ol’ parallax scrolling. With Panes, each design element on a page (like a team member, portfolio item, or blog post preview) can be rolled out with or without a parallax effect — pretty neat if you ask me.
Also unlike most WordPress themes, Panes has a very … lacking live demo. It doesn’t actually allow you to see what a team member, a portfolio item, or a blog post preview actually looks like. All of those design elements are implemented with shortcodes, and the developers don’t seem to have gone to the trouble to fill out the entire preview which is a pretty poor showing.
Still, Panes does have a lot of features, which makes it look great on paper. Ajax post loaders, keyboard navigation, easy 404 page customization, support for 10 social networks and a custom shortcode generator feature. With all that, Panes could quite possible be worth a second look.
Renova is a sleek single pager that’s just as alluring as it sounds.
Full-screen parallax-scrolled images and a filterable & expandable portfolio powered by the normally $15 Isotope script are included. The portfolio supports YouTube and Vimeo videos. An image showcase, tiled grid for you to show off specifically your photography skills (not a portfolio) is one of Renova’s many unique features. The navigational menu is also worthy of note: big, bold, yet lightweight and easy on the eyes.
Custom testimonial modules and (here’s where Renova gets really interesting) a timeline that allows you to show your visitors how your business has grown over the years both look excellent on the responsive theme. Each “service” section is a true work of art, with an enticing rollover effect.
Designova has created a one page WordPress theme quite worth the second glance.
Vernum is a single pager that has a nice, fluid design to it with a jQuery parallax effect.
The demo has a unique twist to it — as the page loads, the entire background is grayed and unclickable while an animated icon with a lightning streak design comes to foreground (see it in the preview). The effect is somewhat similar to the YouTube “buffering” effect. It really doesn’t seem to be the greatest of ideas, though, as the effect is likely to eventually become somewhat annoying for front end users.
The actual theme however, is nice. It doesn’t do anything overly well, but it’s just not a bad theme in general. It comes with progress bars, a filterable portfolio with expandable items, and a “team” section with unique social sharing icons. Built on the BootStrap framework, it features easy customization and MailChimp integration. Not too shabby for a $35 theme.
Panels is a responsive one pager heavily dependent on Ajax. With some good looks and a very positive rating on ThemeForest, Panels just might be the theme you’re looking for.
Although the typography isn’t all that great, the theme is minimalistic and simple. A singular navigational menu is set at the top left-hand side of a visitor’s screen (see it in the preview). The portfolio is expandable, yet not filterable. Panels comes with two pre-made skins: dark and light.
On the whole, though, each of Panels’s design elements is a bit on the small side. There’s few things big ‘n’ bold about it. Additionally, each portfolio item loads atrociously slow. Yet, with a cheaper price tag than most and some stellar support (which includes complete installation and configuration videos), Panels might be the single pager for a new WordPress user.
Disillusion is a responsive single pager. The theme has two different demos, one of which is minimalistic and clean, and the other which is “advanced”. Both, however, look stunning.
Disillusion has a variety of textured backgrounds that keeps your home page fun and interesting. Built on the rock solid Bootstrap framework, Disillusion comes with an Ajax-powered, filterable, and expandable portfolio. Unfortunately, there is a downside — in the Disillusion demo, the portfolio items expanded at an incredibly slow speed — not a very good showing. It’s the same story when you try to filter the portfolio.
There are two skins: light and dark, both of which are viewable in the demo. An advanced page builder makes creating your home page a breeze, and a drag ‘n’ drop feature allows you to quickly and easily change your website’s layout. An Ajax opt-in form and fully customizable Google Maps are also included.
Its speed aside, Disillusion is a great single pager.
Candy is another beautiful single pager with a minimal, responsive theme design.
The theme comes with Slider Revolution, sticky navigation, and a stylized Ajax contact form that looks absolutely fantastic. The portfolio is both filterable and expandable. The theme has a variety of shortcodes, including progress bars. Both the “Team” and “Services” pages are designed excellently — it’s easy to showcase the social profiles of each team member.
All things considered, Candy is a beautiful WordPress theme.
You heard the picture. Ability is incredibly powerful, slick, clean and responsive.
Built on the Swift framework, Ability has an awful lot of features tucked underneath its stunning design. A shortcode generator churns out over 30 different shortcodes. Alerts (colored content boxes), buttons, text highlights, dropcaps, accordions, toggles, and tabs are all possible. Three custom widgets (able to be displayed in 7 different widgetized areas) that showcase Twitter feeds, Flickr photo streams and videos are included along with 19 predefined portfolio backgrounds.
The advanced admin panel comes unbranded and integrated with over 400 Google fonts. A number of different post types (including self-hosted audio and video) allows you to get creative with your blog posts and website pages. Search engine optimized code ensures that your visibility in Google doesn’t suffer either, while a filterable & expandable portfolio allows you to showcase your company’s work neatly.
Ability also has a responsive audio and video player and its own contact form. Ability is a great single page WordPress theme with a ton of features.
BOOSTERIUS is a sleek single page WordPress theme with stellar support from a respected developer. The theme comes with a free demo installation conducted by the development team, as well as video tutorials to help you get started if you buy the theme.
Unlike most WordPress themes, BOOSTERIUS is responsive — but get this — the responsiveness can be toggled on or off. The theme options panel is extremely easy to navigate. On the whole, BOOSTERIUS is a very newbie-friendly theme. Three portfolio types — image, slideshow, and video — can be used in your filterable, expandable portfolio.
Google Fonts is integrated with the template, and numerous shortcodes are at hand for you to play around with. Images are automatically resized — no plugin necessary. Overall, BOOSTERIUS is an affordable theme, great for new WordPress users.
Ideanosse is a minimal single pager powered by the Bootstrap framework. It has a ton of different features, bold typography, and some handy shortcodes.
To start with, Ideanosse has a cool feature in the theme demo that displays your “work process”. When a front end user hovers his/her mouse over one of the steps in the work process, the icon slowly changes colors. Each “team” section also gets a cool displa, with custom social icons. On the whole, the theme has a very block-like structure to it.
Portfolios are both filterable and expandable — users have the option to click through to the Ajax expander or to an external page for the portfolio item. The blog feed is spectacular, and users can even expand featured images for a closer look. LightBox, PrettyPhoto, and Google Fonts have been integrated with Ideanosse. The theme is also lightning fast, scoring 94/100 on a Google Page Load Speed. Retina-ready icons, courtesy Font Awesome, are included. Custom Flickr photostream and Twitter feed widgets and easy customization of a jQuery Google Map are additional features.
Egofolio is a customizable, minimal single page theme with two pre-made skins, light and dark (both are viewable in the demo).
Header typography is big and bold. Like a few other portfolio themes we’ve looked at, Egofolio’s filterable portfolio grays out all portfolio items not applicable to a certain filter. Each portfolio item is expandable to get a closer look at the image as well as a short description for the work.
You have the option to load all content with Ajax or have the front end user scroll down one page. Each page is also easily customized — lots of columns and layout features to choose from. Numerous different shortcodes and Font Awesome icons are available in the Bootstrap-powered theme.
Coalition is a minimal portfolio theme with a very singular look, quite unlike any other single pager you’re likely to see.
For starters, the navigational menu is on a right sidebar — a sidebar that can contain widgets and can be customized for each page or category the front end user is viewing. At first glance, Coalition could easily be mistaken for a multipage theme. Template Builder allows you to create and customize each page to your liking. Coalition has a ton of white space between each page transition.
A visual shortcode editor has a live preview ability. The portfolio is filterable and expandable and supports video from nearly all major video hosting services, and even self-hosted video. Built on the developer’s own Avia framework, Coalition is search engine optimized and quite popular with ThemeForest members.
WP Singular is a clean portfolio theme with a bold, flexible layout. It has some really awesome typography, a filterable and expandable portfolio, and numerous other features.
The page builder allows you to drag ‘n’ drop design elements. The unbranded, Ajax-powered, advanced theme options panel makes inserting one of the many shortcodes a breeze. 11 custom widgets power the theme: Adspace, blog author info, contact info, Flickr streams, social profile display, search, tabs, cycling testimonials, Twitter feeds, portfolio, and latest posts. Over 400 custom Google Fonts are integrated with the theme, and you can choose from 50+ pre-designed background textures and patterns.
Two menu locations, a child theme creator, and extensive support documentation make WP Singular well worth its price tag.
Impress is a responsive single page theme with some impressive features and looks.
The navigational menu, which stretches across your home page like a ribbon, is stylish. The actual page content is set in white space in the foreground of a huge background image that slowly moves by as you scroll down thanks to a parallax effect. In your portfolio, you can display a heading and subheading for each expandable item, but the actual portfolio is not filterable. Impress also has a great many shortcodes that do everything from creating floating share boxes to lightbox images to progress bars.
The “services” section has an absolutely killer look to it, where one large icon is set over smaller icons under which there are descriptions for each service. A stylized contact page is included.
Super Agency is a nifty portfolio theme great for (you guessed it) agencies.
The theme has a breathtaking design with several amazing features. It takes the WordPress customizer to a whole new level, allowing you to play around with each home page element and see your changes in a live preview. It comes with several custom post types, an Ajax contact form, newsletter and opt-in forms for both AWeber and MailChimp, over 35 theme options and 25 shortcodes.
The theme has 9 different predefined skins and 6 background textures to get you started. It supports three different header types: creative circles (which link to different home page sections), sliders, and video. At a very affordable $30 price tag, Super Agency is a fantastic WordPress theme with excellent value for money.
Versi is a beautiful one page theme with lovely typography, a huge pack of shortcodes, a stylized contact form, and more.
You get 3 different home page skins, 2 different menu styles, 300+ retina-ready Font Awesome icons, multiple background textures & patterns and a shortcode generator that does counters, accordions, toggles/tabs, callouts, custom social sharing icons, pricing tables, etc. Each “team member” section also has a nice rollover effect to it and custom social profile icons.
With some incredible support for the developer, Versi is a great one page theme at an affordable price.

The theme options panel controls over 100 options, which includes the 500+ integrated Google Fonts and several background images & textures & patterns.
The progress bars included in the list of 30+ shortcodes has a unique rollover effect — the bars only fill up when a user hovers his/her mouse over them. 400+ icons from Font Awesome, Icomoon App, and Entypo are supported along a colored lightbox. The theme is also consistently updated with new features.
Gothica is a full WordPress heme with a fresh, unique look to it.
The theme demos is very colorful. All images are big and bold, attracting attention. Each “team member” gets custom social icons. Aqua Page Builder allows you to easily customize your home page layout. Revolution Slider (normally $15) is included free of cost in the theme package. 5 post types — standard, video, link, gallery, and audio — are present.
Gothica is heavily reliant on Ajax, both for its expandable & filterable portfolio and for its blog. All things considered, it’s a beautiful theme at an affordable price.
