aThemes (the ‘a’ stands for awesome!) has been creating WordPress themes since 2013. And not just any themes. The philosophy behind our themes is that they are well designed, easy to use, and backed up by speedy support and frequent updates (we are always improving).

OUR STORY
aThemes was created back in 2013 and we started off by releasing free WordPress themes on WordPress.org. We had some early success with themes like Fashionista and Hiero (both of which are still available on .org, though they’re a bit dated now!), so decided to keep releasing themes and see where it took us. in August 2014 we released our first premium theme, Alizee Pro, which did well enough for us to want to pursue this model further.
As of 2018 our theme Sydney has reached an incredible milestone of 200,000 active installs, making it one of the most popular free WordPress themes in the world. Sydney Pro, the premium upgrade version, now comes with four additional demos you can import, giving you five designs for the price of one. We’re always working on new improvements and themes for our customers at aThemes.
